About Apprehending Grace

Apprehending Grace — In Philippians 3:12, the Apostle Paul says “I press on to apprehend that for which Christ has apprehended me.”

The word “apprehend” is a Greek word (pronounced phonetically it is kat-al-am-ban’-o). It means “to take eagerly, that is, seize, possess, etc. (literally or figuratively):—apprehend, attain, come upon, comprehend, find, obtain, perceive, (over-) take.” (Strong’s Greek Dictionary)

I want to take eagerly, seize, possess all that Christ took, seized and possessed for me. While I’m sure there will be many posts that aren’t fully on this topic, it will be the theme of my blog.

Will you go on the adventure with me?
